Hi! I'm Lexi Goldsberry

Lexi Goldsberry is a Utah based costume designer and seamstress known for her exceptional work in theater. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Costume Design from Utah Valley University, Lexi has honed her skills in bringing historical and fantastical worlds to the stage. Lexi has been sewing and creating from a young age and is a strong believer that her knowledge of costume construction greatly informs and improves her costume design abilities.

In 2020, Lexi began work at the Hale Center Theater Orem as an assistant costume designer for their youth education program. She worked on countless shows like Newsies, Legally Blonde, and Frozen. She not only constructed and pulled Elsa’s quick change dress hundreds of times, but also became very skilled in organization and paperwork. Her abilities to wrap her mind around a large show and organize it efficiently soon made her indispensable to the company and she got her first design job doing Christmas Carol in 2022.

She now continues to run the youth costume department for The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater at their new location, as well as being a Resident Costume Designer; designing two shows a year for their main stage. She has just completed the inaugural year for The Ruth in their brand new building. Lexi is looking forward to designing two summer stock shows for the Playmill Theater's first season in their new building this summer.

She is always creating new things, sewing clothes for herself or her clients. She loves to live in fantastical worlds full of color and magic. She can be found in her sewing studio with her dog Sushi and her husband Chad who support her in every way.
